Bio

Brian W. Clark is a senior information technology executive with extensive financial product experience. He is currently a Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer at a major financial services firm.

In this role, Brian is responsible for creating revenue opportunities and efficiencies through architecting, adopting and overseeing the use of innovative strategies and technologies to introduce new products, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Before joining his current employer in late 2010, Brian was Chief Architect at NYSE Euronext, where he achieved cost savings of over $100 million in six years by enabling the rapid integration of acquired companies through the use of innovative strategies and technologies in a rapidly growing information environment.

Prior to 2004 Brian was Chief Information Officer at Emagine Solutions, Inc. where he contributed to the development of the services-based startup firm, growing it to $2 million in revenues within the two years of operation, and was Chief Information Officer of Tokyo-based Nikko Securities International.

Before joining Nikko, Brian was Vice President of Technology at Citigroup, where he led efforts to turn around of the bank’s commercial real estate business, led multiple teams in the deployment of new trading platforms for Citi’s fixed income businesses, and participated the global architecture program to optimize the Investment Bank technology environment.

Brian is on the advisory boards of Intel Capital, VMware Data Cloud and Xpheria, LLC.

He lives in Manhattan with his wife Lika.
